Terms of use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These are the rules for using the Oxbridge Masterclass website and the free Personal Statement course. They’re short, and we’ve written them to be read.
Who we are
Oxbridge Masterclass is a trading name of Jamoe Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12132154, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Email: team@oxbridgemasterclass.com.
The course is free
The Personal Statement course costs nothing and there’s no card to give. We send you a link by email, and the link logs you in, so there’s no password.
Your account
- One person, one account. Please don’t share your login links or let others use your account. If you think someone else has got in, email us.
- Use a real email address you can open, because that’s how you log in.
- Age: you can sign up yourself if you’re 13 or over. Under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up with you.
- You can close your account any time by emailing us. Your progress is deleted with it.
Teachers and schools
Teachers can sign up for their own place to see the course, and share the sign-up page with their students, so each student gets their own free account. You’re welcome to:
- show the course pages and videos in lessons;
- print the worksheets and templates for your students;
- keep them on your school’s private shared drive, for your students and staff.
Please don’t put the course material on a public website, a shared drive anyone outside your school can open, or a paid course. Ask us if you want to do something not listed here.
What you can do with the course
The lessons, videos, examples and downloads are ours (Jamoe Ltd’s), protected by copyright. You may use them for your own learning, print pages for yourself, and quote short bits with credit.
You may not:
- copy or post the course, or large parts of it, anywhere public;
- sell it or use it to run your own course;
- copy the site or course in bulk, scrape it, or use it to train AI models.
Model personal statements in the course are there to learn from, not to copy. UCAS checks every personal statement against statements sent before and examples published online, and tells the universities you applied to when a statement is too similar. Your statement must be your own work.
Be kind
If the course lets you post or send answers, keep them respectful and your own. No spam, nothing hurtful, nothing illegal. We may remove anything that breaks this and close accounts that keep doing it.
Our part
We’ll do our best to keep the course accurate, helpful and online. We improve it over time, so lessons may change. Sometimes the site may be down for maintenance or for reasons we can’t control.
The course gives guidance from experience. It doesn’t guarantee a place at any university, and admissions decisions are the universities’ own. Oxbridge Masterclass is independent. It isn’t connected with the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge or UCAS.
Because the course is free, we can’t accept responsibility for losses that come from using it, except where the law doesn’t let us limit it (for example, if we were negligent and someone was hurt, or for fraud). If you’re a consumer, your legal rights stay as they are.
Ending access
We may end access to an account that breaks these rules seriously or repeatedly, and we’ll tell you why. If we ever close the course, we’ll give at least 1 month’s notice by email.
Your information
How we use your information is explained in our privacy page.
Questions or complaints
Email team@oxbridgemasterclass.com. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use your own courts.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we’ll email account holders.
